Karim Benzema leaves Real Madrid

 On the final day of their 2022-23 season, Real Madrid have announced that forward Karim Benzema will leave the club after 14 seasons. Benzema has this week been linked with a mega-money move to Saudi Arabia, with a reported €200m deal over two seasons being offered to the Frenchman. As part of his new agreement, Benzema could also be an ambassador for the country’s joint bid to host the 2030 World Cup. |
