35 tons of medical equipment delivered to Syria for earthquake victims

![]() The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Ghebreyesus, said that 35 tons of medical equipment for the victims of the earthquake were delivered to Syria. "We brought 35 tons of vital medical equipment needed to meet the basic needs of the victims of the earthquake," SANA quoted him as saying. Earlier it was reported that Ghebreyesus flew to the earthquake-hit city of Aleppo. The number of victims of the devastating earthquakes that occurred on February 6 has already exceeded 20.6 thousand in Turkey and 3.5 thousand in Syria. SAR President Bashar al-Assad thanked Russia and its people for their support in connection with the earthquake. |
