The leaders of the G7 countries issued a statement strongly condemning the holding of referenda on territories of Ukraine occupied by Russia. “We, the leaders of the G7, strongly condemn the bogus referendums that Russia is trying to use to create a false pretext to change the status of the sovereign territory of Ukraine, which is the object of ongoing Russian aggression,” the leaders of the world's largest economies said in a joint statement. |
