UK convenes UN Security Council to discuss Russian atrocities in Bucha
![]() The United Kingdom will call a United National Security Council meeting tomorrow, April 5, to discuss mass killings committed by Russian invaders in Bucha, Kyiv region. “We’ve all seen the harrowing images and reports from Bucha this weekend, of unarmed Ukrainian civilians shot with their hands tied behind their backs, of more than 800 bodies left in the street or dumped in mass graves, of women being raped in front of their children,” she said. Evidence of war crimes on the territory of Ukraine, including in Bucha, will be discussed at a meeting of the Security Council on Ukraine on Tuesday, Woodward said. “We'll use our Presidency of the Security Council to ensure there is transparency, accountability and that justice is done,” she added. |
