Montenegro closed to Russian aircraft

![]() Montenegro has closed airspace for Russian aircraft. The decision was made by the Civil Aviation Agency and supported by the Ministry of Capital Investments, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Radio and Television of Montenegro. Montenegrin Foreign Minister Djordje Radulovic met with the Foreign Ministers of the NATO countries, where he supported all the measures of NATO and the European Union in connection with the Russian operation in Ukraine. Montenegro also declared the Russian diplomat persona non grata. Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine began on February 24. After that, the airspace for aircraft from Russia was closed by Europe and the United States. Turkey has said it will not close the skies to Russian aircraft. |
