Swedish companies Volvo, Scania and Ericsson announced the suspension of business in Russia

The automaker Volvo Cars decided to suspend sales of new cars in Russia, the truck manufacturer Scania stopped deliveries of cars and spare parts, the telecommunications company Ericsson announced the suspension of deliveries to Russian customers while the company studies the restrictions imposed against the country.

It is reported by TASS.

"Volvo Cars will not supply cars to the Russian market until further notice," said Ben Foulds, a spokesman for the company.

He noted that the reason for this decision was the potential risk associated with trade in materials with Russia, as well as restrictions imposed by the US and the EU.

Earlier, the American auto concern General Motors announced the suspension of car exports to Russia.
