The largest US processor manufacturers Intel and AMD will suspend the supply of their products to Russia. It is reported by RBC with reference to two sources in the IT market. According to one of the interlocutors of the publication, the companies verbally informed Russian manufacturers about the suspension of supplies. Chinese partners have already received relevant notices from Intel. An Intel representative in Russia said that “the company is closely monitoring the situation and ensuring compliance with applicable sanctions and export control regulations, including new sanctions imposed by OFAC and regulations issued by BIS.” He did not directly answer the question whether the supply of processors has been stopped. |
