''Where did you get the money from that you could build a mansion in the famous part of Yerevan, and for lowering its price you called it a barn. The Embassy of Iraq is now based in that so called barn. Are they aware in the Embassy of Iraq that they have rented a barn from you?'' Aregnaz Manoukyan, a deputy from the opposition parliamentary group addressed her question to Gagik Jhangiryan, the chairman of Supreme Judicial Council. Jhangiryan said that they rented it not from him but from his son. ''During the previous session of the National Assembly I gave a detailed answer to this question… Do you know why I called it a barn? Because my house is a humble one in contrast to the neighboring palaces'', he added. |
