According to Kim Jong-un, who leads the TV channel, the extension of the quarantine measures imposed in the DPRK due to the coronavirus “led to a tightening of the struggle for providing the population with clothing, food, and housing.” In addition, Kim Jong-un allegedly called on the party and the people of North Korea to be ready for a new “difficult campaign”.
