REAL MADRID want to protect "nervous" Zinedine Zidane by limiting his exposure to the press, according to reports in Spain.

The Frenchman, 47, has recently been at odds with the club's board over their transfer strategy and the treatment of Gareth Bale.

And according to AS, Real Madrid will reduce Zidane's public appearances because his discomfort and tension cannot be hidden during press conferences anymore.
