Toll from Nepal's monsoon rises to 65
Heavy monsoon rains in Nepal have triggered flooding and landslides, with at least 65 people dead and 30 others missing . Police spokesman Ramesh Thapa confirmed that the death toll had risen to 65, with 38 people injured and over 10,000 families displaced in the disaster. In remote north-western Dolpa district on Sunday, landslides buried nine people, he said. |
