Antoine Griezmann claims playing alongside Lionel Messi will be a "huge pleasure" after completing his Barcelona transfer.

The French star has completed a long-awaited move from Atletico Madrid and broke his silence in an interview with Barca TV on Saturday night.

"Playing alongside Lionel Messi will be a huge pleasure."

Speaking about his move, Griezmann said: "I will try to do the best possible in this new stage of my career, I want to do big things because the club's objectives are the same as mine. I hope I can achieve them here."

"I was really looking forward to coming here. I am really happy, really hungry [to do well].

"I am a player that enjoys himself on the pitch and also in the dressing room. I hope I can bring a lot of joy to my new teammates and to the fans."
