Three people wounded in a possible gang-related shooting in Manhattan are expected to survive, the NYPD said. Two 18-year-olds and a 23-year-old were shot in the vicinity of the Jefferson Houses at East 112th Street and Third Avenue in East Harlem around 8 p.m. Monday, police and the FDNY said. One of the victims was shot in the back, and two were shot in the legs, according to the NYPD. Police recovered five casings from the scene and said up to nine shots were fired. Police initially said one of the victims was not expected to survive, but later said all three victims were in stable condition and expected to survive. |
