4 killed when local businessman Wei Chen's aircraft crashes in Atlanta
Memphis business leader Wei Chen died when his private jet crashed in northwest Atlanta Thursday, killing all four people aboard. The victims had not been identified pending completion of a National Transportation Safety Board investigation of the crash’s cause, but Chen's friend and colleague at Memphis-based Sunshine Enterprise confirmed Chen's death. The crash occurred at 12:10 p.m., about 1 1/2 miles northeast of Fulton County Airport-Brown Field in Atlanta, Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said in an emailed statement Thursday. "The National Transportation Safety Board is in charge of the investigation, and will determine the probable cause of the accident," Bergen said. 4 killed when local businessman Wei Chen's aircraft crashes in Atlanta |
