A surveillance video captured dramatic video of a plane crash landing in a parking lot, slamming into a building and catching fire Saturday in Fort Lauderdale. The South Florida Sun Sentinel reported that a pilot and passenger were killed in the crash. They were not identified as of Monday and a cause of the crash had not been determined. Federal officials are investigating. The newspaper reported the plane was a Cessna and that the video was released Monday by a business owner based at the complex. After the crash, several people -- including children -- are seen fleeing the building just feet away from the raging fire. |
