At least three dead and multiple people injured after helicopter crashes into a house

At least three people have been killed after a helicopter crashed into a home in California.

The Robinson R44 plummeted into a residential block in Newport Beach, a block away from the beach, on Tuesday afternoon at around 1.45pm.

Newport Beach police said there were four people onboard the aircraft.

Police tweeted that five people were involved in the crash, including one bystander.
