Paris prosecutor’s office opened a case against Apple because of intentional obsolescence of iPhone

The Paris prosecutor’s office started an investigation into unfair practice in the industry after the scandal surrounding the American corporation Apple, which admitted that it deliberately slowed down the work of the old iPhone models.
This was reported on Monday Agence France-Presse with reference to judicial sources.

According to the agency, the case was initiated after the “planned obsolescence” of the products of the American company. The investigation was started on January 5 and assigned to one of the departments of the General Directorate for Competition, Consumption and Anti-Fraud (DGCCRF).
